[Colawork Active User Interview] #4 Law & Good

Please note that this post is written through an interview with a company that actively uses Colawork Slack app. The fourth Colawork service user interview was conducted with Law & Good, a company providing client-oriented legal services in which they help clients find the lawyers.
Q: Hello, thank you so much for taking your time for the interview. To begin with, could you please introduce yourself and briefly explain about Law & Good?
A: Yes, hello. I am Gunho Shim and I am the operation manager at Law & Good. We are currently helping clients in finding lawyers that suit their conditions. On our platform, clients provide information on the case so that lawyers can view and offer quotes to clients.
Q: Seems like a very cool product that is necessary for people in need of lawyers! Can you tell us how many members are currently working at Law & Good? Also, what is it like to work there? Do all employees work in the office right now?
A: There are little over thirty employees at Law & Good right now. We have been working in a hybrid remote environment even before the pandemic, but many employees are choosing to work in the office right now.
Q: That is interesting. Okay, now the most important question. Why did you decide to use Colawork?
A: I was in search of a service that can encourage employee morale and provide recognition when their behavior or performance is aligned with the core values set by the company. That is when I found Colawork and realized this is the perfect solution for my need.
Q: Thank you so much for choosing Colawork! How are you using Colawork in the company?
A: Law & Good is using Colawork company-wide. We made a separate recognition channel in the Slack workspace. We not only give recognitions casually but also recognizes colleagues whenever there is a valid result of some sort. I think everyone on the team is given recognition at least once a day.
Q: That is awesome! Thank you once again for your time today. Is there anything else you want to comment about Colawork?
A: I think it would be nice if we could give recognition as a group, not just as an individual. There were several occasions when I wanted to give recognition to both the design team and the development team for their amazing works.
Also, sometimes a limitation of 250 letters for the recognition message is not enough. We try to use Colawork to provide feedback to each other, and it would be great if we can write longer messages.
I think that is pretty much it! Thank you and I wish Colawork the best.
We would like to thank Gunho Shim, Operation Manager of Law & Good once again for taking the valuable time to interview with us.
Thank you very much.
